Nicaragua Surf Report for Sunday, January 29, 2023

Brian Scott

Happy Sunday folks! Just another offshore windy, but beautiful day here in Nicaragua. The water’s now just starting to get a little more chilly, but still tolerable to trunk it and no rashie (YET!!!) Enjoy ~

Only a handful of peeps out…. Alvaro center peak, Jett on the far left looking to take the shoulder and an innocent bystander seeing what he can possibly take off of this awesome A-Frame!

Alvaro ended up nabbing the right….

But taking on the right into into them gusty offshore makes it a bit of a challenge to get some good momentum, but Alvaro got a few nice turns on this nice right.

The swell isn’t very big right now, but that’s the norm for this time of year.

See still guys out there trunkin’ it!

Jett waited patiently for a good long right and this one he carved back and forth weaving sections from some flat spots to connecting sections that would jack back up bringing him probably a good 100 yards of fun turns and wave time to practice his rail work.

One of the may sections of that seemingly endless wave.

Going around the section of the inside bowl….

And then going for the barrel closeout section! Yaaaah little buddy!!!

Proud Papa moment x 1000000000, as this is just one of many waves Jett’s taken and 1000000 more to come!!!
