Yeah… There were some nuggets at this side peak today. If you know, you know.
There were quite a few A-frame split peaks coming through.
After having paddled out, I can say that the rights were longer and better for linking turns together, but the lefts were hollower and better for barrels.
I’m sure you’ve got a surf buddy you would split this peak with?
It was interesting because there were five surfers out this morning, but they were all sat too far out. Maybe they were unaware of the gems sneaking through underneath them?
The only surfer to get a wave during my time shooting… He’s a bit out of the pocket, but his body mechanics are good here.
The smaller ones would’ve been really fun to glide across on a soft-top.
See how round the lefts were? Although it was small today, there were makable barrels on the lefts.
Well amigos, that’s all of our empty lineup today haha! It’s funny because there are surfers here in Iguana now, but I guess they keep missing the windows. I’m sure it was still pretty fun there this morning before I arrived though. Tomorrow is forecasted to be bigger, but it will be pretty windy though. Anyways, I’ll see y’all tomorrow.
RECENT REPORTS
Hey everyone! Welcome to Thursday’s surf report from Panga Drops. The swell continued to fade today, but there were still a few leftover sets rolling through. It looks like this set caught everyone off-guard out there!
FROM THE ARCHIVES
