Somewhere in Nicaragua
HI everybody, we are the NSR family with the Monday surf report. Today we drove up to Playa Maderas hoping to score some fun waves and we did. It was running about waist to chest high on sets with offshore winds, the water warmed up a little bit and there were a few jellyfish around. Check it out.
Not many locals were able to paddle out today. Norwin “El Chulin” Estrella took a ride with us to the beach and was trying to do some maneuvers on some of the better waves that were coming through.
On the last surfing shot of the day we have Augusto “La Gaviota” Chamorro about to bust a nice air. He keeps trying and trying everyday to improve his surfing skills. Don’t give up my friend!!!
Alright folks, the swell is supposed to be hitting us tomorrow so we might have some really fun waves to take all day long. Tonight we are going to aboard this beautiful boat because we are going to make a trip along the north coast so be sure to check back with us tomorrow because we are hoping to catch some head high waves with offshore winds.

Hello Tuesday and Happy Cinco de Mayo. We checked Colorado at first light and it wasn’t quite happening so we went up the beach to old faithful. Panga Drops. @tonyzphotos reporting.

Hi friends, it’s Lucha Libre with the saturday surf report from out here at Maderas. January was pumping during the last two weeks and it looks like February has its thing too. It’s head high to overhead on sets, the wind is offshore and the water is chilly. Check it out.
It’s still small and we didn’t go to Maderas today but I guessed It’s knee to waist high on sets. Here is a shot of the bay, It’s so beatiful.
We’ve had a nice little bump in the swell overnight. Don’t let this picture fool you, it was the wave of the day. Most of the others were around waist to chest high with offshore winds.
