Welcome to your Wednesday midweek surf report damas y caballeros! It was an incredibly well lit and super fun turn out for the evening surf report (aka surf session) for everyone who showed up! Glad you could make it too! Hope U Enjoy ~
Not only the lighting was fire, so was all the surfing action that was going down! Joe from Wisconsin (here) absolutely feeling in heaven AND loving the “Bathwater” temps here in the southern hemisphere.

Nate taking one of the long roping rights that was way down the way on the other side of the main peak. This is also Joe’s (mentioned above and also on the cover photo) buddy that’s traving with him. If you can believe, the water temperature here is pretty chilly, but when I asked them both how it felt, they said it was the best thing ever! I feel bad that you have to go back to Michigan on Saturday. Enjoy and soak up as much of this Nica SUN as you can amigos!
Local boy, well gent, would be more precise looking for the ever elusive barrel while Colorados stays dormant for the time being.
On the flip side of that coin, Cesar was killing it out there with all the guys!
Actually, there were quite a few ladies out there. Emily here is leaving mañana, where’s everyone going? No, but in all seriousness, it’s been fun linking up with Em for the last week or so before she has to head out. En la Mañana, crossing fingers for an epic send off session 4 ya!

Always something to ride at the reef! Good thing that it’s been head high + into the overhead range almost the entire new year/season.
Devon on a super gunny looking wave machine. I think he actually made or shaped rather that intriguing looking wave sled! Yeah buddy!!
This is how most people leave a lineup… still watching as the sun sets and the sets still continue to fire.

Hey amigos! Welcome to Thursday’s surf report from Colorados. I saw the waves turn on and off about 7 separate times today. The conditions were in constant flux. It just so happened to be that the best window of the day was when I took pictures around 1:00pm.
Hey everyone! Welcome to Wednesday’s surf report from Colorados. The waves were better by all measurable metrics today. It was still walled up and slow, but there were definitely some 10 pointers to be had.
Hey amigos! Welcome to Tuesday evening’s surf report from Colorados. The swell was bigger and stronger today, but it was very slow between the sets. I think the lack of a secondary swell combined with the sandbars not being in perfect shape made for long waits.

Hello again! It’s already Tuesday and the waves were about the same as yesterday except there were a few more people out today. Nice groomed waves in the waist high range. Not too big, but still great conditions! Check it!
Hola amigos from around the globe! Not a whole lot going for this mellow Sunday. Still some nice swell in the water, but the winds were blowing a little sideways adding a little unfavorable texture on the wave faces. But as always, there were surfable waves out there!
