Happy Sunday everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend! maybe you watched some amazing historical surfing going down via the WSL streaming live from Banzai Pipeline? Well, we didn’t quite have the same kind of waves here, but there were some fun swell in the water and everyone who was out surfing looked to be having a pretty good time!
Joel wrapping up the weekend with this nice late afternoon turn.
Elise doing the same thing on the opposite side of the wave going left. She styles whichever direction she’s going. I think she’s made almost every report for the last couple weeks consecutively, that’s how much water time she’s been putting in!
Doc Hunt on a classic Panga’s long right wall. It doesn’t close out, it just keeps rolling in for yards.
The lefts on the other hand were hitting the inside sand bar and were actually getting pretty hollow. This was on the higher tide, so I can imagine maybe if you were out here on the low tide, you could possibly find that elusive barrel that doe exist from time to time at the reef.

There’s that inside bowl hollow section I was telling you about. Cesar eyeballing that ramp section…. watcha gonna do hermano???

I hope this guy ended up catching some fish, because all the people out in the lineup were catching a ton of waves….. I always like to see everyone at the playa fulfilling their experience to the brim! Also not a bad way to end the day to a great weekend! See ya all again tomorrow for the Monday report. p.s. Hey everyone! I hope you all had a great Fourth! Saturday’s report is coming your way from Colorados as per usual. It was smaller today, but very shreddable. Still a few tubitos too.
Happy 4th of July! The size of the surf dropped notably today. There were still good sets, but patience was key (again). Hard to believe there were no takers on this one!
Hey amigos! Welcome to Thursday’s surf report from Playa Colorado. I saw some of the biggest sets of the year today. There were epic moments, but it was still a bit slow between the high quality waves.
