When I got to the beach there was only one guy in the water… this is John that lives in the neighborhood.
A few minutes later Elyin Guzman showed up with a client… only 3 guys in the morning session, not bad, right?
First peak was breaking good every 20 minutes or so, definitely it was worth the wait though.
The A-frames at Second peak were more consistent.
Elyin didn’t waste any time and started catching everything that came near him.
And his client was right behind him too.
I actually met John today… he built a smoker at his house and now he is selling bacon, and guess what I’m having for breakfast tomorrow??
John’s dogs were howling at the beach while he was surfing… they probably wanted to go home to get some of that bacon fat for breakfast.
After a nice little barrel John was ready for some yummy breakfast and went home.
Looks like Elyin got breakfast before coming to surf… he was killing it (as always!)
John, I think you should invite Elyin to have breakfast with you… he was burning all the calories in just a few waves.
Let’s see what the next few days bring to us, hopefully some more bacon, sorry, I mean waves! Hasta la proxima!
RECENT REPORTS
Welcome to 2025 everyone! Happy New Year! Josh back behind the lens for the next few days. I basically pulled an all-nighter and woke up early to surf after the late night fiesta. The lineup was empty even at 8:00am and the waves were fun. I surfed then took photos.
