Somewhere in Nicaragua
We’ve got waves. It’s about head high on sets and super offshore out here at Maderas today. The upwelling is in full effect and the water is chilly – there aren’t too many people surfing without suits or tops. Check out the spray off the back of this closeout.
Machete point has been giving it up lately and today was no exception at low tide.
The cold water didn’t stop the determined though – especially if they were from Canada.
Oliver was using the day to tune up for the upcoming contest.

Hey amigos! Welcome to Thursday afternoon’s surf report from Pangas and French Fries. The swell didn’t drop nearly as much as forecasted, but it was a little bit smaller. It was very clean and pulsing while I took pictures.
