I started off by checking the beach break (a few times today actually) but it was really fast and every time I looked there wasn’t anyone out.
That’s when I headed back over to the reef and I saw a few people starting to make their way out for the PM session.
When I saw this inside drainer, I knew we were on for some fun photos of surf!
However, I was to be fooled as the winds were just as strong, if not stronger up this way.
Looking back down towards the beach club area. It sure looks nice! Right?
When the winds are this strong, it’s almost more ideal to look for the lefts, if they’re producing.
This hombre, going for a super sick closeout section off the lipper!
See how the rights get way more wind up the wave face. It’s super hard to even drive on a wave in the rights.
Speed-lining it down one of the racetrack lefts!
Cesar following suit….
Ending it with this big bashing wrap!!! BOOOM Yeah, brother!
Oki doki people. Hopefully the winds will back off a little mañana. I’d like to get down there early and see some people, but we’ll see. Check ya tomorrow ~

Hey everyone, I hope everyone had a great romantic night last night. Today is a new day and it’s time to get back to the important things in life… like surfing!
Hello! This is Baldo with today’s surf report. Today I decided to go check out a couple of spots to see where to go surfing tomorrow, now that the swell started building up through out the day. I went to the two closest breaks from my house: Santana beach and Popoyo beach! Nada mal, verdad?
