Even though everyone was by second peak, there were fun peaks everywhere, look at this A-frame on the north end.
Mario Martinez (as usual) was the only one going for the rights in hte middle of the beach, and by the way, the water had this amazing color today!
I saw some big barrels… with no escape.
And also small barrels with a big exit.
This guy was having such a great Sunday here at Santana… doing all kind of tricks with an outstanding style.
He had a smooth and very tight stand that worked perfectly here at Santana.
He was going really fast through the sections.
Did I mentioned that he was having fun today? And also metioned his stylish surfing? Nicely done!
For some people Sunday Funday means drinking at the beach… I just hope that they would have shared one of those cold Toñas with me!
First peak was not really working, every 30 minutes one good looking wave appeared luring surfers to get closer but nothing really happened.
This whole week is going to be 2-4 feet so we’ll probably be showing Panga and Popoyo but we’ll see how Santana is doing. Have a great week!
RECENT REPORTS
Hey amigos! Welcome to Friday’s surf report from Colorados. The swell was very big as forecasted, but it didn’t really hit the sandbars appropriately. Still some big drops and adrenaline rushes.
Hey everyone! Welcome to Thursday evening’s surf report from Colorados. It was a bit of a “stand-up contest” this evening, but the power should return tomorrow. Still surfable, but we are suffering from the recency bias haha.
Hey amigos! Josh here for the next few days. Welcome to April 1st’s surf report from Colorados. The surf was on its dying breaths today, but there were still a few good sets and pulses sprinkled throughout the day. The mid-day window had insane sun, so there were very few surfers out.
