Welcome to the Tuesday nuclear wind and surf report! Man, those winds were really howling today, but the waves… well the waves were super consistent and coming in and firing all over the reef…. so come check it out!
Looks super fun if you like a lot of texture, right!?
The wind is a magical thing. It’s actually what creates the waves we mostly surf on. It also makes our sprays look more defined.
Maybe if you can zoom in, but check out the wave face on this one. That’s how hard it was blowing today!
Getting into the waves…. easy breezy!!!
Heeeeey nowwwwww…. looks like we have our first “Mystery Barrel Surfer” for 2020!
Aaaaand the one that got away! Shucks!!
There were only about 4 or 5 people out. So there was lots of room to move around the lineup and pick off any gems you wanted.

I’m not sure who this kid is, but he was killing it out there.
The more calmer and gentler looking Los Perros beachie was pretty inviting looking for some fun surf lessons.
One day, those beginners, hopefully will be doing moves like this!
