What’s happening Party people? Welcome back to the site and to the Sunday NSR surf report. The waves were running waist to head high with clear water and the wind was a tad lighter than the last few days. The south swells are starting to show up and we couldn’t be happier.
The crowd was light today but there was still a little hassling going on in the line up. In the next shot you will see karma take control. It never pays to burn your fellow surfer.
Now you see what happens. It’s okay because there are plenty more waves to be had.
Hayden was getting a few sick ones when the sets came through. Hayden is about to open an Ice Cream Shop right in front of our office. I personally can’t wait to give it a try. As Pancho Sanchez always calls me “Dewey Milkshake”. I can never get enough ice cream.
Tony Z was charging as well out there. Tony loves his board and he always seems to make really long sections on that thing. Pretty sick snap.
The guys that are staying at the NSR Beach House were out there getting their share. This is James with one of the biggest waves of the day. Way to go buddy!
Josh is getting this break wired. This is just one of the many tubes he had today. He spends an average of about 5 hours a day in the water and as you can see it’s paying off.
Yours truly got and hour or so of nuggets this afternoon. This is the first time surfing this break since I’ve been back this year. Man have I missed you amiga. There will be plenty of sessions to come for sure.

Hola amigos, this is Lucha Libre Garcia with the first day of Pitayas Quiksilver Surf Contest at Playa Hermosa. The waves picked up a little bit and actually we had some fun ones to be taken. Chest high waves on the bigger sets, quite strong offshore winds and cold water. Check it out!!!
This afternoon the NSR Surf School “Best one in Town” made it to Playa Remanso to teach some lessons. The conditions could not been better today, waist to chest high waves, offshore winds and chilly water. Check it out!!!
