We went to the beach today in the afternoon with a new friend from San Francisco. She heard about the NSR Surf School, the best school in town to learn how to surf. She was very excited when she first paddled out.

The waves were a little fast when we got the beach but it got better as soon as the tide came in. It was running about knee to waist high on sets with nice offshore winds. Check out the lineup!!!

Diane did pretty well in her first day out with the NSR Surf School, commanded by D-lite. Here she is caught with a solid ride all the way in to the beach.

The lineup was not busy at all, so i had to make D-lite to take a couple of waves to have a shot of him on the report. Here he is riding regular on this right.

Later on, a few girls made it out but they had a hard time in the water with no rashguard on. The water was a little cold and a fw jellyfished showed out so there was no way to stay in the water on your bathing suit.

On the last shot of the day we have Jose “El Corage” Hernandez with a small but cool off the top on this little nugget. That’s all for today folks, please check back tomorrow.
