You might have heard that Nicaragua experienced an earthquake last night....and we did.  It was a minor quake and there was no reported damage, most people (like me) didn't even feel it.  I guarantee you this international surfer didn't feel it.  He's just happy to be riding a fun little nugget like this after a couple of onshore days.

In case you are curious, here's the offical report on the quake:

MANAGUA, Nicaragua -- A moderate 5.9-magnitude earthquake has struck off Nicaragua's southern Pacific coast.

The U.S. Geological Survey says Wednesday's quake occurred around 9:15 p.m. (0315 GMT). It says the temblor was centered about 65 miles (100 kilometers) south of Managua, the Nicaraguan capital.

Managua residents say the quake was barely felt in the city. The Nicaraguan Institute of Territorial Studies says there were no immediate reports of victims or damages.

The USGS says the quake was about 26.5 miles (42.6 kilometers) beneath the surface.
