The lineup was not busy at all, so there were many good waves to be had. Here we have this unknown rider drifting this nice looking right all the way in to the beach.
Today I got hired by David from Salt Lake City. He has been out of the action for most than a year and today he decided to give it a try. Here he is just seconds away from fun.
Quite a few local surfers were able to paddle out and they were shredding up as always. This is Larry “Carita de Venado” Davila with a huge backside floater on this right.
This is El Mope Miranda with a cool white and black snap. He was destroying every single wave he caught. It was nice to see out again my friend!
On the last shot of the day we have Jeremy styling on the best wave of the day. The waves should be fun tomorrow as well so make sure to stay tuned with us.
RECENT REPORTS
Hey amigos! Welcome to a special Friday surf report. Spot X made its first cameo of 2026.
Hey amigos! Welcome to Thursday’s late morning report from French Fries. The sun was shining and the shape of the waves was better today. The wind was also lighter! (Thankfully)
Hey everyone! Welcome to Wednesday’s surf report from French Fries. The surf was even smaller today and the wind was still strong. That being said the faces of the waves were still fairly smooth at French Fries. It is almost always more protected from the wind there than all other spots on the beach.
