Swell dropped a tad bit more today, but it was definitely still rideable out there.
The shorebreak over at the beach at Playa Colorado is pretty small as you can see. This is often a good indicator of incoming swell
Full suits are the call right now, but due to the sun you can definitely get away with some boardies and a good neoprene top
I like this guy’s style
It’s funny how people seem to all get in the water at once….
One of the sets that I saw come through. Nice wall going right.
I like this guy’s style as well. Pangas is not as fast of a wave as Colorado’s so you have more time to think and plan your next maneuver. There’s also more time to feel the wave and express your style.
Winds were on and off throughout the morning but blowing offshore. It’s definitely been a lot less wind than the last couple of weeks though that’s for sure.
Up and over!
Small but nice shape
Anyway, that’s it for today guys! Beautiful day to go for a surf, although don’t expect any big waves. Perfect off season day!!! See you all next time!! ~Kevin
RECENT REPORTS
Hey amigos! Welcome to Friday’s surf report from Colorados. The swell was very big as forecasted, but it didn’t really hit the sandbars appropriately. Still some big drops and adrenaline rushes.
Hey everyone! Welcome to Thursday evening’s surf report from Colorados. It was a bit of a “stand-up contest” this evening, but the power should return tomorrow. Still surfable, but we are suffering from the recency bias haha.
Hey amigos! Josh here for the next few days. Welcome to April 1st’s surf report from Colorados. The surf was on its dying breaths today, but there were still a few good sets and pulses sprinkled throughout the day. The mid-day window had insane sun, so there were very few surfers out.
FROM THE ARCHIVES
John was out on the waves early today. We had a chat about longboards at the beach break and how we love the combination! Looking good on that board amigo!
