Today we woke up super early in the morning to catch some good waves with the incoming tide. We headed out to check out the spot we were surfing yesterday but it wasn't breaking as we were hoping. It's overhead on sets, the wind is strong offshore and the water is getting colder little by little again. Here is a shot of the wave at first light in the morning.

The good thing is that we can move around all the spots we know and try to score some good ones. Yeahh guys, we were looking and looking and at the end we made it. Just image to be surfing that wave breaking just in front of your eyes with nobody out.

Most of the grom surfers are so excited because they are going to participate in the first contest of the year tomorrow at Maderas Beach. Rodolfo "Calibilly" Zapata made it out and was showing off with spray like this one.

How about Pedro "El Cacaste" Florez, this guy have been working hard to get a good place in this contest. Here he is smacking the lip with a sweet vertical maneuver.

"El Mope" Miranda is just getting in shape for the next QUIKSILVER Pro in Salvador. He's going to participate and share with all the Latin American Surfer and have a good time up there.

We want to give a special shoot out to Jorge "El Chispero", this little kid is only 16 years old and has been surfing just for 3 months. He has been making out during this swell everyday, maybe we are going to call him "BBB" wich mean BIG B,,,S BOY.
