PLAYA SANTANA
The waves were small, in the 2-3 ft range, and they were breaking not too bad. Here is a roller at First Peak.
Today’s action was not in the water… this girl was having a serious “selfie photoshoot” on the sand.
She was probably also making videos because she was walking back and forth with her sarong, flipping her hair all over the place… you know, “enjoying the beach” style.
And of course, what comes right after a selfie? 30 minutes deciding if it was a good photo or not…
Instead of taking photos and stare at a screen, people should really enjoy the beach, like stare at the sky, play with the sand, feel the wind in your hair, or even better… surfing!
Mateo “Big Kahuna” Guerrero is finally enjoying the beach the right way, by riding waves!
Jhonsi (@jhonsiruiz), a local from Santana is every day surfing here, in good or bad conditions, always having a great time.
He might not be among the top surfers of Santana, but he knows how to surf and gets some decent rides here and there.
You can’t tell how much fun Big Kahuna was having today, he looks so focus!
Saddys (@saddys_zapata) showed up for a quick session, and as you can see, he doesn’t need much time to start killing it right away.
Hopefully tomorrow we’ll have better conditions… I really want to surf tomorrow! Cross your fingers everyone! Hasta mañana!

Hey amigos! Josh here for the next few days. Welcome to April 1st’s surf report from Colorados. The surf was on its dying breaths today, but there were still a few good sets and pulses sprinkled throughout the day. The mid-day window had insane sun, so there were very few surfers out.

Happy Saturday NSR viewers! This is Eric with a quick update from this Saturday morning at the beach! The waves look good but the wind is insane out there!
Aloha everybody!!!!. Looks like the new swell is already arriving. The main peak have a nice right rolling with some tubes. The wind is 20 Knots per hour and the water keep cold. We have strong sun warming the tropical forest. Check the action in the line up.
