PLAYA SANTANA
Today it was still too early for the swell but once in a while there were some bigger sets that showed us a hint of how is going to be the rest of the week.
It was not barreling but it had a good open wall to do many turns.
On the north side of the beach there was this guy ripping by himself. Here he is with a nice grab high above the lip.
Here he goes again, this time with a nice wide cut back on the shoulder of this little wave.
Check it out again, it’s not a perfect A-frame peak but you can go either way and have plenty of fun.
Full on wetsuit… yes, the water is still cold!
What do you guys think… bigger, right?
Small or big, the whole point is to have fun, especially if you are with your buddies to cheer everyone up! Come back tomorrow to check out the swell! Saludos,

Good Sunday to everyone tuning in today! Eric here, bringing in the surf report from a beautiful, left-breaking wedge! I pulled up right at first light and this is what was there to greet me!
Hello, welcome to the surf report from Nicaragua. We have a surf session really fun in the noon. A board broken, good barrels and we were sharing waves with the visitors in the line up. Everybody were fun in the water. Check it out.
Hey gang, D-Lite here with your Thursday NSR surf report. The swell dropped a bit overnight but we still have some fun waves coming in. It’s running waist to chest high with clear water conditions and semi glassy form.
