Somewhere in Nicaragua
Hola surfistas! Happy Monday and if I had to describe todays surfing conditions, waves, and all around general good vibrations out in the lineup. . . I would have to quote one of my old (and actually quite famous in the surfing world), my buddy Bruce Brown’s (RIP Legend!) his ever so classic line…. “It was Gangbusters out there today”!
Robert August, Nat Young and Wing Nut, eat your hearts out! There’s a new dominance out there riding the classic LOGS (and even better with their grace and, sorry guys, but certainly makes surfing in board shorts look boring, but what they’re doing is also mind blowing!).
Not only on the LB’s too! Sophie getting better session after session. It’s like watching surfing evolution right before your very own eyes.
There is still plenty of swell in the water, matter a fact, it was pumping and so consistent I had to take it easy with my shutter button finger. Since I paid the price last night when I had to go through over 3K in photos & sequences.

Still hoping and waiting for Esmerelda to open back up. But by the looks of it, this could maybe be a little foreshadowing???? “Hey Alex, come jump in wid us”! Jajaja – if you know where that line is from you’re old, but you grew up in the best time era of surfing (IMHO!)

Hey amigos! Welcome to Thursday afternoon’s surf report from Pangas and French Fries. The swell didn’t drop nearly as much as forecasted, but it was a little bit smaller. It was very clean and pulsing while I took pictures.

Happy Sunday Funday everyone! It was a pretty mellow and low key Sunday surf day. Really small and offshore so the pickin’s were slim. But as always, the beach life was happening!
Welcome this morning with a smile! I got down to the beach a couple of hours before high tide and the waves looked fun :p
