An unknown surfer cruising across the face. He could’ve directed his vision and hands up toward the lip to get more vertical.
This guy was hunting barrels out there today. Still not really that hollow today, but he still managed to find a few glimpses of shade.
Tube hunting again. He’s a little low and disengaged from the wave face, but I like his lead arm’s position.
He also pulled off a nice slash to finish the ride.
Santiago cruising across a super clean and green right! There were so many of these available in the morning at high tide. It was an excellent day for fun boards and long boards.
Boogey’s can throw spray too!
Santiago prepping for another bottom turn up and across the face of this right.
Roger had the most laid back style of all today’s surfers.
This guy’s got the right idea! Good bottom turn up from the boogey in preparation for the rollo!
Dario paddled out on a SUP with a lucky lady who got to experience the rush of the tandem ride. Dario is a pro at these. Here he’s setting the rail in preparation for the ride.
They made it up! However you can see the crunchy whitewater section behind them which is about to swallow them up. Dario is having her brace for impact haha!
Dario had the most fun this afternoon, and therefore won the heat. You never know what special moves he will pull out. Tomorrow could be really fun again at the higher tide like today. Fingers crossed the run of good waves continue and hasta mañana!
