This could easily be a shot from today at the Huntington Beach Pier, or any pier for that matter, but it’s not. We don’t have any piers around here.
We (normally) have super warm tropical water, but I’d say we certainly have something surf-able about 90% of the year.
Such good surf, that people come from all over the world to surf here.
Even when it’s small, it looks pretty fun eh????
Today is International Women’s day. This was the only chica I saw out surfing (at least while I was shooting at this time) So Kudos to you young lady! You’re representing the entire globe right here in Tola as millions read this post across the world today! Happy Women’s day to you and all your amigas!
I’m not sure when International Mens day is, but I now all this guy cares about is getting a really good barrel while here’s here in Nicaragua. More swell on the way buddy… hang tight!
Mr. Baldo making a case for the pig dog today and a nicely attempted barrel on our measly little 2-3 swell. Yaaaaahhh Baldo, get some!!!
Ryan is another tube hound and fancies any kind of left…. because he’s goofy!
Goofy or not, he’ll pull into either persuasion of direction.
Floaters…. Yup. People like them very much here, of course when the waves aren’t grinding barrels on the nicly packed sand bottom.
I snuck over real quick before last light to our secret right hand point just around the bend to nab this guy killing it on his longboard.
hahahaha – just checking to see if you’re still reading. There’s no right hand point break around the corner. Or is there???? Hmmmmmmm!
Well there you have it surfista brothers and sisters. I’m all out of juice for the close of this weekend. Please join me again mañana as I am now swapping a couple days with our new NSR amigo Chris for my Saturdays and will be reporting on Mondays now. See ya out there tomorrow hopefully! Cheers ~
RECENT REPORTS
Hey everyone! Welcome to Thursday evening’s surf report from Colorados. It was a bit of a “stand-up contest” this evening, but the power should return tomorrow. Still surfable, but we are suffering from the recency bias haha.
Hey amigos! Josh here for the next few days. Welcome to April 1st’s surf report from Colorados. The surf was on its dying breaths today, but there were still a few good sets and pulses sprinkled throughout the day. The mid-day window had insane sun, so there were very few surfers out.
FROM THE ARCHIVES
Welcome to weekend surf report friends. We’re expecting some fun waves over the next couple days, so lets kick it off starting NOW!
