Somewhere in Nicaragua
What’s up everybody?! This is NSR and Parker filling you in on the surf in southern Nicaragua. So far, we’ve all enjoyed the leftovers so check the shots we have!
As soon as I arrived, the CMO of EMHEC took off on an overhead bomba. This is par for the course and a daily routine for Tom.
Word on the street said there was a competition between NSR owners to test who could hit the lip better. This is Carlos Caliente on his backside.
And here is Pancho on his frontside. Because they’re both my bosses, I plead the 5th. Buuuuut, Carl was on his backhand…
Trevor, John, Dan, Mark, and Jim have been visiting Casa Cantamar this past week. Unfortunately (fortunately for Dan’s wrestling career), today is their last full day. It’s been awesome see y’all again and safe travels!! See you in a couple months.
March has been an epic month of early season swell! The current swell is fading away as a new SW fills in tonight (and more after that). Expect more peaks like this at Horseshoes. Gracias El Nino!
When the interval kicks up, you can find long rippable walls in each direction. There’s still time to plan your weekend strike mission!

Despite the imperfect conditions (cloudy and sandy water), Pancho was on it! Do what he does: build a lifestyle that still has plenty of time to surf.
A handful of gems rolled through untouched. Maybe our friends are resting for the afternoon or weekend sessions?
I was packing up the gear from an early morning shoot and Marlon passed me. I told him I was up for a quick photo shoot at the beachie! Check out his sequence!!
Marlon deserves a treat. While working full time, he is a dedicated English class student. Addtionally, he is a genuinely nice kid, always greets you, and looks you in the eye. On top of those great traits, he also shows us how to surf with style!
Yeah hombrecito!!! He logs his hours and his improvement shows it. Keep being a stud, Marlon!

Hey everyone! Welcome to Saturday’s surf report from Playa Colorado. There was a window early today and right at sunset. At mid-day when I took pictures the wind kicked up making for better turn sections than tubes. Still a few if you knew where to look.
