The small waves attract all the local groms at Santana beach. They were all having a blast with these conditions.

Check out first peak, breaking really close to shore on the shallow sandbar but with a great shape.

Second peak was a lot better, that’s were the majority of the surfers were, sharing and enjoying the A-frame peaks that were more consistent than any other spot.

As you can see, the water was very calm, with no sudden gusts of wind blowing out the lips of the waves, no white caps covering the horizon.

Size doesn’t matter… specially here at Santana beach, there is always the chance of getting a barrel no matter if it’s 1 foot waves.

I thought it was a very normal March day until I saw Chris Connors in the water… going left!

I think this is Nesmer destroying this tiny wave with his power backside. This kid rips in all conditions!

According to the forecast there is a little bump in the horizon arriving right on time for the weekend, in case some of you would like to take a last minute trip to Nicaragua, just let us know and we’ll help you have a great surf trip! Cheers!
