Rosada was really good with this new swell, long lefts wraping around the point.

There was a lot of waiting between sets but the wait was totally worth it… look a those lines on the horizon!

Yamil went for the first wave of the set… he almost ate Sh*t on the drop but as an experienced local surfer, he just managed it like a walk in the park, and actually he had a nice run at this park.

Check out the second wave of the set! It broke perfectly and opened all the way, for sure today’s longest wave.

The surfer had a great ride, at this point passing in front of Yamil it was half the way of the whole ride.

As I said, there was a lot of waiting in between sets but it doesn’t mean there were no waves. The smaller waves were easier to catch and ride.

The small ones were breaking a little slower, leaving enough room for a few turns.

I even saw a little messy barrel!

Rosada is a good place to practice your last move of a ride… it’s perfect for a nice floater before the ride is over.

After a couple of hours at Rosada, Yamil called his friends to check what surf spots were breaking good to make sure where to go surf next.

If you would like to surf this spot, we manage several beachfront houses right in front of it. This photo was taken fromCasa Rock, check it out here.

You can also stay at the famous and recently remodeledCasa Brown, with 5 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms for up to 12 people.

Here is Jan on a nice roller. Jan’s house is right above a hill with an amazing view of this wave… but not as amazing as the view he has right now.

He knows exactly which waves are the ones worth paddling, he sits deep in the line up and waits for those gems that take you all the way to the rocks at the beach.

Remember to always be careful with all the rocks here at Rosada, you don’t want to damage your board or get injured and ruin the rest of your trip. Have a great rest of the week, and don’t forget to wash your hands and stay healthy!
