Somewhere in Nicaragua
Hola compañeros! It’s that time again…. Sunday Funday! Swell or I should say lack of (at the moment) swell isn’t very big, but I know there will be some fun stuff brewing up way down in the southerly Pacific soon! In the meantime, let’s take a peek at what we had out there this morning.
Actually, it wasn’t as bad as I made it sound. Pretty fun chest to head high rights out there.
Rights….. a lot of rights!
Just based on this photo alone, it looks like it could actually be a really fun day at Colorados.
But it wasn’t. PC is still dormant. . . but not for too much longer!
Everyone out was hitting the rights with the paddle hard, take off and make the bottom turn and BOOM hit that lip coming off that bottom turn. However, we had this one elegant graceful dancing on water longboarder gal out there mixing up the agro guys with her delicate but nice to watch dancing on water style with all at fancy cross-stepping and walking the log work!
Back to the agro guys… hahaha!
If only there were a little more peakiness or some more mixed in swell, this thing would have maybe stayed opened up for this guy to have been able to pull off a little inside barrel! But at least he tried!
Super clear water and aqua blue out there, even though there wasn’t a lot of sun today. . .
One more good lip bash to finish off todays surf report!
My friend Maria tried her hand down at PC’s but it was just too small she said. Soon though, very soon!!! Have a great rest of your Sunday and weekend my friends…(ps * ed note – waiting on the results of the weekend contest that will finish up today, but I got word that one of our local hero’s and representing NSR/Playa Colorados regular, Oscar Espinoza has made the finals, so I will update here in a little bit once I get some coverage from Oscars big brother Miguelito (who’s been covering the contest(s)…..¡Muchas gracias Miguel por toda la increíble cobertura! Hey everyone! Welcome to Sunday evening’s surf report from Panga Drops / French Fries. It was very clean, but smaller than yesterday which caught me off-guard. There were still some pretty waves for the handful of surfers that were out.
