Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, March 15, 2017

Hello everybody, happy Humpday! We’re excited to welcome you to the report and show off our home break today. Click “read more” check out the shots!

If you’re wondering, yes the pulse arrived! Fasten your seat belts and enjoy today’s barrels.

If you’re Lesther Espinoza, fasten your seatbelt and set your line. This hombre crushed it this morning and caught the wave of the day. Keep scrolling down!

How’s the view in there bro??? If you make it, my girlfriend will cook you another dinner!

We’d show you his claim to the wave but we can’t let him attract all the ladies. Let’s just say he scrubbed his shirt clean. Buena ola primo y venga por la cena una noche!!!

I checked it when the tide was fuller and it wasn’t quite working well. With the sand in good shape and low winds during the lower tide, we enjoyed some great early season conditions.

Andrew’s friends brought him down here for his bachelor party. Yes, they’re having a great time, but also scoring some sick waves! Eloys stars by night, barrel maestros by day.

Brett, Andrew’s maid of honor, found a little left gem. After the morning session, they had a quick turn around for a boat trip. They got barreled in the morning, now surfing a long point break, and then will finish up a wedge beach break. Not a horrible day, huh?

As the tide dropped, the rights started working well. Step inside the ring and find a screamer.

Say no more- Nacho paddled out. Plus, he had to burn off a delicious Calabria BBQ chicken pizza.

Nacho found a gem and locked in for the ride. Unfortunately, Mateo wanted to share the same wave. Nacho is always down to share his pizza but I’m not sure how cool he is sharing his first wave of the day.

Well, if you’re going to burn somebody, at least make it. But don’t treat your friends like that.

My buddy Jhaura is in town for a couple more days. After fully recovering from a surgery and seeing swell on the radar, how could he not strike it down here?!? It’s good to see you back in the water bro!

Aura is another super fun person to surf with. She has a good energy to her and is always cheering people on. Well Aura, today we cheered you on for sticking a couple sick ones!!

Ok, share the love… a few lefts did come in too…

Mark, Ian’s good buddy from San Diego, is here for a couple weeks. After picking off a couple frontside tubes, I have a feeling corporate America can wait a little long for him and he can extend his trip a little longer.

Ian and Mark pour into the local boys and treat them like kings. The local boys speak of them like an older brother who they’re stoked to hang out with.

I snapped this photo of Oscar Espinoza right when a cloud rolled over. With cloud coverage and him throwing buckets, the rainy season might be coming early.

With many barrels come a handful of wipeouts. If you're surfing the low tide, be careful. The sand is very shallow and not very forgiving.

Ok damas and caballeros, I could look at these rights all day and upload 15 more beautiful photos of them but it’s time to wrap up here and go enjoy them for myself. The winds are calming down and the afternoon is looking fun so we’ll see ya in the water. Gracias por ver nuestro reporte!!
