First at all we want to wish everyone Happy St Patrick’s Day, even down here in Nicaragua we have a little bit of the same culture. Everybody was wearing on green, including cool bathing suit. Watch out for those horns beauty!
Let’s take it to the surf now. As I said before the waves were fun and all the locals were out there taking advantage in the lineup. To start the day we have Augusto “La Gaviota” Chamorro busting a sick frontside air. What a nice background, uh!
Check out Felipe “El Pipe” Chompipe high lining a nice looking left. He was one of the most stoked surfers we had out there because he was scoring a bunch of good ones.
We had a few international guys out trying to get barreled. This is Jeremy trying to pull into this sweet section. That would be a sick one dude!
There were a couple of waves closing out, so that’s mean we have some good ramps to practice some critical maneuver. This is Larry “Carita de Venado” Davila going big with an amazing move.
Meanwhile mostly all the locals were out, our very good friend Byron “El Abuelo” Lopez was taking care of his baby. Here he is all smiles, posing for the camera!
“El Mope” Miranda was able to paddle out as well and was ripping all over the place. Here he is caught laying down a cool snap on this right. Check out those guys about to get a nice free shower.
Here we have this unknown rider picking up one of the cleaner set waves of the day. What a nice wave man, that might be one of the better waves of your trip, uh!!!
On the last shot of the day we have Pancho Chamorro showing the young guys how it is done. The waves were super fun today, we hope to have some better and fun waves tomorrow as well so make sure to stay tuned with us.
