Nicaragua Surf Report for Saturday, March 18, 2017

Howdy folks!  Welcome to the Saturday surf report from the beautiful beaches of the Pacific Ocean!  Here in Nicaragua today we have some small waves with steady offshore winds!  We went to the beach early, check the conditions!

A few people were on it, getting some waves for breakfast! This guy was surfing well in the small stuff… maybe he’s from good ol’ Florida!

Don Peter took out the wave storm for his morning session! I bet pretty soon you’ll paddle out with Calala on the nose Peter!

I took a stroll down to the reef-break and found a little more size with only a small handful of surfers!

Santana local, Lenin, was out there shredding up the small stuff! The waves were soft and perfect for practicing some turns!

I let the tide drop out a bit and headed back to the beach to check the scene! Small grinders reeling down the sandbar with just a couple local kids out enjoying!

Chocoyo was taking a little break from work and cooling off in the water! I mean it when I say he was cooling off, that water is COLD!

Even with almost no swell on the radar we still have some fun waves here! If you want to stay on one of the most consistent beach breaks in Central America, this is it! Check out our vacation rentals and come join us!

This young fella got a little tube time on one of the better set waves! Shallow, clear water tubes are looking pretty sweet wouldn’t you say?!

Up at the NSR shop we’ve got an awesome board selection for rent! I had Jess show off a couple of my favorites, but you can check them all out in depth in the surfboards rental tab or by coming up to the shop! Don’t forget to pick up a wet-top and stay warm out there while you’re here! That’s all for today friends! See you out on la playa!
