Somewhere in Nicaragua
Happy Sunday everyone! Made it down to the beach in the lat(er) AM today. The waves were so-so. Not as good as yesterdays afternoon session. But there were still some magical moments for sure. Check it out!
Without any surfers in this shot, it’s hard to gauge the size today, but it was still in the Med-Large Fun zone.
Here’s a fine example of Antonia Wallig taking off on one of the medium sized set waves. Still fun looking though right??
The conditions were pretty good, it was just a little inconsistent is all.
A little peek way down the way. Nobody out down there. Maybe for good reason.
Cesar having himself a true Sunday Funday, since he must have closed shop to come indulge in todays water festivities.
There were plenty of barrels, it was just a tad fast today. If you made them you were either not deep enough or if the wiped out, you were too deep. Ahhhh, the curse of barrel riding.
Speaking of curses. How stoked do you think that guy is hitting the swerve and miss button last minute? Such a beauty of a wave too!!
This is more like it… “hey, you go left and I’ll go right”, say’s Mr. Pelican.
You get that perfect drop in, you’re looking down the line and you think what you’re setting up for is going to be a really nice backside wave…
and then this happens. Shooooots! No Thanks!
Perfect waves or not, this place is always a high performance wave on any day.

Once the light came out the water color really came alive.
