But that didn’t stop the surfers to go have fun at the famous Santana peaks.

As I was getting closer to the beach I could see better the shape of the waves… looked a lot better from the front!

There were some fun ones at First Peak, going both directions.

The rights were good for big roundhouses just like Oscar (@oscar_gu3man) is showing here.

On the other hand, the lefts were fast, steep rides that only allowed one or two turns.

Towards the center of the beach the rights were working better than First Peak… longer rides with some sections.

It’s been a while since the last time I saw Junior Martinez at the beach… he decided to come out today.

As a local, Junior knows exactly where, when and how to jump off the rocks without getting smashed into them.

Of course, right away Junior got one of the best waves of the last hour… a beautiful head high A-frame at First Peak.

Here is Junior attacking the lip with his powerful surfing.

What do you all think? worth getting wet, right?

According to MagicSeaWeed tomorrow is going to be a lot better than today: 3-5 ft at 17 seconds. Bring it on!!
