The wind is still blowing strong but the waves are not that bad here at Santana.

First peak was kinda of working, not precisely how we all love to see it but in times of global crisis, you do with what you have.

This local kids having a great time just by himself at first peak.

All around the world flights are getting cancelled, but it doesn’t mean we can’t get some air time.

This person is taking it really serious the social isolation… he has the whole pool for himself!

Uri has been following all the sanitary reccommendations… he’s not even touching the face of the wave, keeping his hands to himself. Good for you Uri!

Probably a lot of you reading this are still thinking about getting away from the madness and spend the next couple of weeks surfing empty waves…

… just remember that this is a global issue, you will not be getting away from it, it’s everywhere or will be everywhere pretty soon… it’s better to ride it at the comfortness of your home.

Just make sure to pay your internet bill so you can still check our daily surf report… as I said at the beginning, we’ll do our best (as always) to keep you entertain with some nice Nica waves and our (sometimes cheessy) writing.

Don’t worry, we all gonna come out of this. And the good thing is that we will (hopefully always) have the ocean and the waves for us surfers.

Stay safe, clean and in quarantine! Peace!
