Somewhere in Nicaragua
The swell was pumping at Playa Maderas this afternoon. There were some well over head waves rolling in, the winds were nice offshore, the water was cold and you can image that the lineup was almost empty, as always happen when the waves get some size at this spot. Check out the lineup!
If you like this spot, this was the day to be here. You do not get to see these kind of waves at this spot very often.
Dunia La Pinolera Burgos was not worried about getting pounded. She was charging on some of the bigger sets.
Jeremy El Pelon Canadiense scored some fun ones as well. Here he is caught dropping into a nice mini bump.
Felipe El Pipe Chompipe was ripping all over the place. You can see he’s coming back to the foam, after he ripped a nice turn
We had plenty of waves for everybody out there. Even for a good sponger!!!
You already saw some lefts barreling but nobody was in the right spot to catch them, but this guy grabbed a couple of sick barreling rights. It is Playa Maderas folks!!!
We also had some sweets waves rolling in by Machete Pt but nobody was out there. It was firing today, wasn’t it?

Hello Monday, The swell continues into today with some cleaner conditions. There were some long waits, but for the few patient people in the water there was some glory to be had. @tonyzphotos reporting.
