It was still plenty offshore, but it was just enough to where it made the waves so much more groomed than it was the entire day.

It was still a pretty large high swinging tide coming down right at the cusp of about how late I usually prefer to go shoot (for the light), but there were plenty of waves and some decent outside clean up sets, as apposed to the ones that were breaking pretty far in and close to the beach like this shot here.

It was actually barreling too!

Amazing light, and some unridden waves here and there, but how gorgeous looking was it out there eh??

Here’s a nice indicator of how (less windy it was when I first got down there) I wish I had a photo from earlier, but it was pure victory at sea!

Here the calmer late afternoon waves and swell was pretty magical this evening!

Sarah going after both the rights and the lefts.

Her mama came up to me on the beach and in Spanish asked if I had gotten any of her daughter Sarah, I reassured her that she’d definitely make the report today! So, here ya go Rosalba!!! 😉

Here’s a couple deuces from three different surfers, three different styles and three nice waves in a row! First off, Jett’i’mon taking off on a nice overhead runner. . .

Followed up with this intense and nicely executed roundhouse wraparound!

Next up, Papa Nam (Cesar) speed blurring his way so fast with his bottom turn, looking to do something radical. . .

Baaaaammm, yeah Dudie, and that’s putting all that speed to good use!

Last but not least of the “Tres Deuces Wild”, Jeison, gunning for it fast and precise. . . the guy surfs like he’s a Lamborgini!

And he smashes and crushes sections like Mike Tyson!

Same goes for Kai. A true wave killer!!!!!

Bro’s fo life!!!!!!

Actually, everyone out there today was killing it. Josh with a sick backside floater reentry.

The sun dropped so quickly, I literally had to run (not walk) all the way back to my moto, where I started out a couple hours earlier.

In surfing though, it ain’t over until it’s you can’t see out there anymore “over”! Josh heading back out for the last call.

One last super sick fly away air way down the line as I headed south the other direction, luckily looking back in time to catch Jeison doing this epic closeout section air with Los Perros as his backdrop.

And that my friends is what we here call. . . “A Good Day in surfing”! RECENT REPORTS

Hello Tuesday, we had a fun morning of surf today. Winds were a bit light and the faces were looking clean. @tonyzphotos reporting.
FROM THE ARCHIVES

Welcome back to another windy surf day, it’s offshore but it was howling. It’s the last ditch efforts of the wind to get it’s attention before the season begins and the wind settles down and takes a backseat to the magic show that the season’s start brings.
