Somewhere in Nicaragua
This is Roberto with the surf report and spanish class for today. We’ve got small waves out here at maderas but still rideable, the wind is strong offshore and the water is chilly.
We’d like to welcome all our friends from Norway! We went to Maderas for a surfing lesson. The brothers Chamorro (Luis and Martin) brought out the best in everyone. We couldn’t believe it – everybody stood up by the end of the day. (I guess snowboarding is good training for surfing) It was great to meet you all. Have a great stay in Nicaragua!

Hey everyone! Welcome to Tuesday’s surf report from Panga Drops. The swell was notably stronger than I expected. Some early season Pacific power! Middle peak was the place to be, but it was windy.
Hey amigos! Welcome to Monday’s surf report from French Fries. The waves were pretty much firing when I rocked up to take pictures, but just like yesterday the wind went side-shore as soon as I put the camera away. At least some surfers caught the magic window.
Hey amigos! Welcome to March 1st’s surf report from French Fries. The waves were really fun in the late morning and early afternoon. The wind direction was perfect, but then flipped side-shore right as I went to grab my board haha.

The contest is in full effect, the waves came up a bit. Now they’re about waist to chest high, with some rare head high sets. This is Gerardo, pulling off the second of two 360’s on this one.
