Nicaragua Surf Report for Friday, March 27, 2009

Hi folks, this is Jairo “Come Pan” Ramos bringing you the Friday surf report.  Today we headed out down south with a new group of students that wanted to get the best surf lesson in the whole country.  The waves were running about chest to shoulder high on sets with ONSHORE WINDS and the water was warm.  Check out this lineup shot.

This is Kyra representing the crew from the states.  She was taking many fun waves all the way in to the beach.  Check her out with a solid stand up on this nice sizeable right.

Here we have a shot of the satisfied crew after they got their lesson.  These guys did a really good job out there charging on some choppy but fun waves.  Our buddy D-lite wasn’t able to do the surf lessons today because he’s hurt but Carlitos and El Monito did it very well.

There were not many people out this afternoon because we got onshore winds.  We’ve never get onshore winds before at this time of the year and tomorrow it is supposed to be onshore again.  This is “El Cuadrado” bottom turning this little nugget.

This is Wayland “El Rolimpin” Dangla trying to come around with a cool 360’s.  It is nice to see you back in the water my friend, maybe you can practice a little bit more and get ready to charge some bigger waves later this year.

On the last shot of the day we have this beautiful “Oso Hormiguero” (Ant eater) trying to stay away of a dog that was chasing it all the afternoon.  Tomorrow the waves are supposed to be a little bit smaller than the last two days but it might be still very fun to paddle out and ride some waves.  The best conditions will be in the morning.
