The shape of the waves were really good, little peaks here and there, breaking really nice both ways.

There was plenty of room to catch speed and to throw big buckets of water on the in-between sets waves.

The waves were not full barreling but it was a good warm up for what it is supposed to come tomorrow.

Everyone was excited at the beach, talking about how good it was today and how great it will be tomorrow (crossing fingers!).

Check out Byron Quedo getting ready for tomorrow’s barrels at First Peak…

After the drop he did a bottom turn around that very first quick section.

Then he used both hands to slow down and tried to get some cover under the lip.

As you can see here, he did tried very hard to get barreled but the waves were not helping much today on that matter.

But that didn’t stop him destroy the wave with a powerful snap on the inside. I think he is ready for tomorrow!

Even though tomorrow is not my day for the surf report, I’ll try to take some photos of Santana and pass them on to Brian so he can include them on tomorrow’s report. Have a great day tomorrow everyone!
RECENT REPORTS

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a great Fourth! Saturday’s report is coming your way from Colorados as per usual. It was smaller today, but very shreddable. Still a few tubitos too.
FROM THE ARCHIVES

Hola estudiantes de la vida! Today we had some pretty fun surf out front and with that came a couple of teachers of the craft and some students learning thus said craft. Put away your iPhones (unless you’re browsing this surf report on there) sit back and take a few notes from todays class session.

Good afternoon and welcome to todays surf report. First off.. I would like take a second to introduce myself. I’m Brian (NSR handle/nickname is still in the works haha) and I will be helping out with the report a few days out of the week now with Parker and Baldo. I look forward to adding..
