Although the swell is down a bit we luckily never experience a day with no surf in Nicaragua. Trust me when I say we don’t need the waves to be gone for us to appreciate them everyday. Blessed.

John was the only guy out this morning when I checked the spot. Here he is spraying water like a New York fire hydrant in mid July.

If you’re not having fun, why would you keep surfing? Obviously John is having a great time, looks like he is doing The Hokey Pokey.

Sometimes you gotta wait..

With a bird’s eye view down to next break I saw some waves coming.

There were a few more people out on this side of the beach and there was a bit more size as well.

Some fun little waves on tap. I was down on the beach and it started sprinkling a bit I had to run and find cover.

Safely under the cabana I looked back at the beach and saw this gem coming through just begging for someone to paddle in to her.

The tide was dropping but the few surfers out were popping up. Is that the cheesiest sentence I’ve ever read let alone written lol

“Surfing is very much like making love. It always feels good, no matter how many times you’ve done it.” – Paul Strauch

I know it has been a tough few weeks with the whole world dealing with this pandemic. I want to encourage you to keep in shape during this lockdown, there are lots of fitness, stretching, and yoga videos on Youtube. It’s amazing how during this crisis the value of artists and creators has never been clearer, while we are all stuck inside for our own and our communities safety what is it that we have all been consuming more of? Art in the form of movies, shows, and music. Now is a great time to re-evaluate what it is you are doing with your life, and what you would like to be doing with your life. Soon this will be over, will you go back to life as you knew it? Or will you use this as the catalyst for the change in your life?
RECENT REPORTS

Hello Wednesday, I checked Panga Drops mid morning and the wind was blowing pretty stiff and sideshore. Still plenty of swell in the water. @tonyzphotos reporting.

Hola estudiantes de la vida! Today we had some pretty fun surf out front and with that came a couple of teachers of the craft and some students learning thus said craft. Put away your iPhones (unless you’re browsing this surf report on there) sit back and take a few notes from todays class session.

Good afternoon and welcome to todays surf report. First off.. I would like take a second to introduce myself. I’m Brian (NSR handle/nickname is still in the works haha) and I will be helping out with the report a few days out of the week now with Parker and Baldo. I look forward to adding..
