Somewhere in Nicaragua
Buenas tardes amigos! Well, it was another great morning of waves at the Playa de Colorados! Sun was shining, the winds were sweeping offshore and the water was super BURRRRR! But all the surfing was on fire, so it all equaled out as one great day today!
Heck, even saw this guy out in the lineup. YESSS!!!!! Bienvenido Bear-Dog!!!
The shredding (unless you found yourself pulling into big and fast n’ racy barrels) was top notch out there this morning.
Even the grom department had todays waves on lockdown.
Well overhead for everyone today!
Pops, aka Mitch, to the super grom in the previous shots, nabbing a little quickie, while his little man paddles back out.
Yeah, this is what you all froth out on seeing……. am I wrong???? Uncle Rick paddling and putting his Hawaiian “Pipeline” experience to practice out there today.
Todays wave’s aren’t any size comparable to the infamous wave, but we do have some juice on the way… so I hope you’re all ready here, or planning your trip to be down here very soon for the next big swell!
Shoots brah! Even D-man is back in town. Talk about a complete lineup, as in the band is literally back together!!!
I bet Derek was pretty shocked when he planted his firsts few steps in the water today. It was no joke, pretty darn chilly out there. But it did feel good getting your feet off the hot sand. That’s just it, it was either super hot, or cold enough to really be bummed if you were surfing without at the very least a rashie. Sick new board D! Can’t wait to catch up soon!
Brett getting out there for round two and it was already sometime around between 10 and 11ish. He likes to get out there super early.
But I’m sure he had already gotten a bunch of these already in his first session.
Either way, he loves to surf and luckily he’s staying in the Rio Dolce 4 floor condos, he can see the waves from his bed the view is that epic! It also gives me a little upper advantage each day as to when to go shoot! Mahalo Mr. Brett for alway being my eyes!!! 🙂

Hey everyone! Welcome to Friday’s surf report from Colorados. The waves were smaller today, but bigger than I was expecting. Still a few make-able tubitos in the morning.
Hey amigos! Welcome to Thursday’s surf report from Colorados. I saw the waves turn on and off about 7 separate times today. The conditions were in constant flux. It just so happened to be that the best window of the day was when I took pictures around 1:00pm.

Happy Sunday guys and gals! Today’s side winds kept the surf check(ing) to an all time close to insanity level as it’s always optimal to try and get “the shots” as early as you can in on the day of the report. BUT it ended up being another waiting game that put the any surf..
Remember when you were so happy it was Saturday because you wouldn’t have to wake up early and go in to work.. now that’s all anybody wants to be able to do. It’s true what they say “you don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone.”
What’s up NSR fans? Ready to see some good size waves here in Nicaragua? Well, today started to show more size and this morning was really good.
