There was a good mix of rights and lefts out there. While shooting the lefts were better, but afterward the rights were better.

John weaving through a racey drainer. Someone’s gotta pull into the first arrivals of surf season!

Nacho popped off this morning. Undoubtedly the best backside barrel riding form I’ve ever seen from Nacho. Notice how much wider his stance is and how open his hips are.

I paddled out shortly after shooting, but it was too late. John and Nacho got the favorable window.

An unknown rider testing his contortion and compression skills haha. He folded him self into a mini-ball here.

I also think the board Nacho rode today is a perfect barrel riding board for him. It’s not too long, but long enough to help him get good paddled speed + knife steeper drops.

We were due for some tubes after last weeks flat spell.

John getting stylish for us with his trailing hand touching the wave face. He and Nacho cleaned house this morning.

It was sheet glass out there this morning. It could be a good idea to hit it early tomorrow morning or in the evening. Anyways, I was stoked to see some of the Iguana legends trading off tubes this morning.
