Somewhere in Nicaragua
Happy Tuesday everyone and welcome to your daily surf report. We had some of our first really cloudy weather. No precipitation but the waves were juicy, especially when the good ones rolled in. Check it out!
Oscar was one of the only 3 people out when I got down to the playa on the high tide coming up quickly.
Katie was one of the others and as you can see she had the choice pickings pretty much to herself.
A few times as a matter a fact.
And then weād see one of these golden carrot, aqua unicorns of the day roll through completely untouched.
I guess thatās what may have bought the mini-pre-surf-season crowd. I counted 25 people out within the first hour I started shooting.
Well, there was also a boat that pulled up from down the way. That still didnāt bother Will, here.
So much that he was catching waves all up and down the beach, having a total blast!
Teacher and the student. Or maybe just flatmates? Mr. Barry showing us how big his tubos were down at the reef earlier.
Mystery barrel surfer of the day??? Are you guys paying attention to my little game?? Letās see if you guys can start identifying our undercover barrel lovers, shall we? Maybe Iāll have a cool prize for whoever can guess as many of my mystery barrel surfers correctly over this surf season.

Dario was sitting, waiting super deep for those magic lefts that were coming in about every 20-30 min. Nice playful size and looks so glassy, yet offshore all at the same time. You ready for this season buddy??
This unknown barrel sniffer looks like he might have sniffed in the right place today.
Oscar reminds me of a rally car racerā¦ heās super fast and light on his board and can make the tightest of corners
But can also GO BIG when he puts the pedal to the metal.

Today is probably the worst Monday for the majority of the Nicaraguan population (and probably all Latin America!) because of the way most of the people ācelebrateā Easter Week. This guy is an exceptionā¦ he is having a great Monday surfing first peak.
