PLAYA SANTANA
Happy Thursday surfers from around the world, this is Baldo reporting once again from Santana beach.
The waves got smaller than yesterday but I think today was better because yesterday they were almost too fast for most of the surfers.
Probably Emeline agrees with me about it… she had a few long rides today.
Another witness could be Buena Onda Aurelia who also had nicer rides today.
Santana is always a good spot because it lets you finish the ride with a good maneuver, like a nice floater.
Santana has really nice ramps to go creative on the aerial show.
It really is a show, do you think?
Semana Santa is coming! As every year, a bar or two set up camp here at the beach to entertain the visitors with loud music and cold drinks for everyone.
And look who is excited to see the arrival of the Victoria truck? I haven’t seen Mike this happy in a while!
Better Together Mnistries came back again with a group from San Clemente CA to donate and install their second playground at the Limon 2 school near Santana beach.
NSR lent some logistics and labor support for this project… Hot Carl is always happy to help!
Nice playground! I’ll stop by in the next few days to show the local kids having fun at it.
Back at the beach, the girls were cheering each other on every wave.
A school of fish showed up near first peak, a big commotion that surprised everyone.
Little sardines splashing on the face of the waves, escaping from some big predators below.
Some fish got pushed out to the sand by the waves and right away the birds went for them.
