When I first got to this spot we only had about 3 or 4 guys out scoring many fun waves all over the place. Bobby was one of them, and he was ripping all the waves up. Check him out with a cool turn on this left.
This local guy was one of the other guys we had out there in the morning. Here he is doing his best to ride this one all the way in to the beach.
There is always a nice way to get to the beach. These guys rode that thing for about 25 minutes to get here, but it did pay off.
Later on, during the afternoon the swell start feeling a little bit more and we had a few guys from San Diego out killing it. This is Corey styling on this right, they actually were trying to get some water shots but it looks like the photographer was too way inside getting pounded all over the place.
We had some real nice waves rolling in, but as I said before the lineup was not busy at all. Check out this sick peeler rolling in with no takers. What a shame!!!
It is time to post the barrel of the day. This is Derek from San Diego about to score the sickest wave of his trip. Shot 1, dropping in!
Shot 2, looking down the line!
Shot 3, getting some speed to make it throw the barrel section!
Shot 4, getting some shade!
Shot 5, is the water man going to get this one?
Shot 6, getting drained!
Shot 8, there he is looking for the door!
Shot 10, do you guys think that he’s stoked? Just check out his face expression and make your own call.
Now the wipe out of the day. We probably are going to see many of this tomorrow as well, so make sure to stay tuned with us.
