I went to Santana early in the morning and the water was clear and almost glassy… and there was a lot of fish the water.

The waves were not working properly. Only two boogieboarders trying to enjoy the conditions.

Around mid morning (and mid tide, dropping) I went to Panga Drops but by then the onshore was on and the waves choppy.

Just a few surfers out there. This guy was catching some great, long waves here at Pangas.

Rights and lefts, he probably was one of the few surfers enjoying the conditions today.

After today, I know for sure that Panga Drops is one of the most consistent wave in Nicaragua… there are always waves no matter the size, and no matter the wind direction.

Did I mention that today was also the hottest day (so far) of the year? That onshore brought not only bad surfing conditions, but also a lot of humidity in the air. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day. Cheers!
RECENT REPORTS

Hey hey amigos! Welcome to Monday’s surf report from Panga Drops. The waves were very small today, but a new novelty peak started working. I’ve dubbed it “Sterling’s Left”.
