There is certainly some swell left in the water, but the wind blowing side shore hasn’t been helping. Plenty of people out watching and waiting for that moment the wind might switch back to offshore at any moment… hopefully.

In the meantime, you just have suck it up and surf.

Especially if that’s what you came here to do.

It actually looked like a pretty fun day to grab a sponge and hit the rinse cycle on these inside messy closeouts.

I guess if you’re coming…

Or going….

Or even just staying… the beach is nice place to hang out since the weather is nice and the breezes are even better at the playa.

Carly all smiles as always on this soon to be closeout.

Finding a good shoulder out there was a bit of a challenge.

but if you found a diamond in the rough today, it was well worth the paddle out.

A single one karat diamond out in the middle of nowhere.

The Reef up the way wasn’t all too great either.

But hopefully the morning will bring us a new day with less winds, maybe even glassy waves.

Quick little promo for a local surf contest coming up here. If you’re in the area and want to see some nice performance surfing from the local talent, you should come check it out!

Ok my surf friends and ocean/beach lovers alike. Here’s a nice little pano I took with my phone before I darted back off into the jungle where I make my surf report magic. Look forward to seeing you out there mañana hopefully! Saludos ~
