Somewhere in Nicaragua
Feliz dia de lunes! The crowds were about as thin as a January Monday and we had the winds to match it as well. But I got lucky with a couple (I’d ay about 1 and a half people out there surfing). Jump on in!
Here’s the solid one surfer that was out.
A few other peeps going out to play in the whitewash and have a mellow Monday beach day.
This is a great example of why it’s so fantastic and makes this place that much safer. Never turn your back on the ol’ ocean folks! Thats rule numero UNO when playing in the big pond!
And here’s the other 1/2 of the the surfing crowd. Yeah, get some little grom!
Getting hung up with these strong offshore winds just means you have to paddle that much harder. But it doesn’t necessarily mean the wave will let you in…. shoots, you might even find yourself going backwards over the falls! That’s always fun! Hahaha (not)!
This dude knew what he was doing though.
And even found himself a sweet little cover up with some shade from that hot hot sun that was blazing out there today!

Peter coming out of the jungle to say, ya know Brian….. it’s gonna be a good week. Peter is always right about pretty much everything he says or does, not to mention he’s one of the happiest-go-lucky guys here, we get to have here as an adopted brother (like the rest of us non true blooded Nicaragüense people). But his heart beats Blue and White and his Spanish, well, let’s just say it’s probably the best here in Nica-Land (as a non Latino). Love you bro! here’s to another GREAT week! Yewwww ~

Hey amigos! Welcome to Thursday’s surf report from Playa Colorado. The size dropped even more today, but there were still a few finale sets that rolled through in the morning. I guess everyone was burned out from the last swell as the crowd was light all day long.

Good day friends! Well, yes indeed it was…a very fine day for, surfing. Super clean and dreamy conditions with waves that were woking like a carousal that wouldn’t stop. Oh and there was a bit of some size in there on some sets too…. like I said, it was a very fine day of waves! Check..

What’s up surfers around the world? I’m Baldo behind the camera from Santana beach. The conditions were not that great this morning, and the swell direction was kind of weird, but as we all know, this is nature and there is nothing better than go with the flow of it.
