Somewhere in Nicaragua

Pounding, stomping, boosting, GOING BIG! However you wish to call it, this kids’ doing it right and blindly on his backside.

The two most common types of surfers you will ever see at this surf spot. Trust me, there a many other types… but these are the two most popular.

I really try to get as many non-local (aka tourist surfers) here on the report as often as I can, but I run into two things usually when shooting the surfing. 1. There aren’t always a lot of out-a-towners here too often (hopefully soon, now that peak season is upon us) and 2. I’ll have to admit, I love really good surfing. I want to highlight the best surfing each session. So this report goes out to a few heads out there who were ripping!!!

This is Colin. He’s been here for a little while and will be here for a little while longer, but he’s been getting this wave super dialed in.

A-frames anyone? It wasn’t by any means a barrel fest out there, due to the swift side shore winds today.

However, this was the most barreled guy I saw out there. AND Yes he actually made it too!

Phillipo just a few days back and already nabbing some frothy keggers!

Outside, “I see it”… no, the bigger one behind that ONE!!! Ya there were a few outer reef sets to keep the lineup on their toes.

Check out this shot a few frames after Todd made the drop on that last image as he sets up for what looks like a 100 yard screamer to the touchdown! SICKKK!

Air’s are one thing… air’s over 5 foot closeout sections are what separates the bull dogs from the chihuahua’s!

Oh heyyyyyy now!!! Well, it is Friday and the evening will soon be upon us. If you’re in the neighborhood, you should make your way over to Casa Anana’s tonight for the ever so festive and musically inspiring “Open Mic Night”. It’s always a good turn out and it’s a good way to show everyone what you’re shower singing skills are all about! Hope to see you there!!!
