There were some small waves but with long rides.

And also there were some big A-frames with fast rides.

This happened two frames before the photo above, a big late drop with no success.

Check out First peak, it wasn’t consistent at all but with patience you could find one like this.

Big drop followed by a big bottom turn.

And finish it with a nice short barrel, who wants to try?

And because it’s Easter Week, you can have a nice group of expectators cheering you up.

All the local kids were having a blast today, showing off their tricks and turns.

Look at this spray, this wave got shredded!

Another turn, another bucket!

Mario Martinez was eager to find a barrel… he found a few but he could not find the exit on any of them.

It was a different story with Elyin Guzman… he got barreled many times and made it out on most of them.

I missed the best 3 barrels of the day, back to back… I was on the phone dealing with clients and last minute reservations, when a great set came and wave after wave the perfect barrels opened and there was a surfer deep inside getting covered… and coming out perfectly clean. It was beautiful.

Hopefully tomorrow will be as good as today, or maybe better?

Supposedly it’s going to be a little bit bigger tomorrow, we’ll have to see Brian Scott’s report tomorrow. Saludos everyone!
