Louie getting in and on it while it was looking actually a lot or better than it really was out there. This was also (I think the for sure the wave of the day!) Check out the sequence…. Lining it up for some possible tube time if this wave cooperates.

Aaaaand of course Colorados never disappoints, especially for those special people who pay their dues here and it’s like a second home!

Coming out clean and just in time to show the hombre in the foreground that, yes, you can do the ol’ “pull a rabbit out of the hat” trick here!

But then to even polish out off with a sick little cutty like this, well, now you’re showing off Lou-Dog Haha! j/k! 😉 Super sick wave and sequence brother!

One thing’s for sure of this photo… ok well maybe two things. This guys top turn is pretty sick, but I imagine after tonights rains, all that brown shrubbery could very well be green in a day or two!

My other amigo Roli was one of the other few who made the paddle out in the tarde session, despite the challenging conditions. Keep rolling with it amigo! next swell, which will be here soon enough, I wanna see you pulling into one of the waves of the day… THIS we shall send to your friends back home to show em what’s UP!!!

There’s so much tech (surfing) stuff going on here, I don’t even know where to begin. For those who see it and know, well, you KNOW! For those who like the pic. Thanks! And no matter where you’re at in your surfing ability, this is something you should aim for (or somewhat close to it) if you really want to take our surfing serious and to the completely next level.

Onshore, side shore, even a little bit offshore, but never not paddle out just because of the wind and it’s direction. If its this size… you have every reason to get out there and at least make it a “One and Done” sesh!

Sometimes I feel like the Mens Warehouse dude…. remember that guy. He always said at the end of his commercials, “You’re going to like the way you look. I guarantee it.” At least that’s what I always aim for when I’m shooting you. But the real honest to god truth is, it’s really all you and your surfing. I just like taking properly lit and well framed and composed images.

Ok, you’re a seasoned surfer. You’ve personally seen and surfed hundreds of waves. Did this guy make it??? Let’s see how well you know surfing.

Louie, well, I can tell you, he pretty much makes just about every wave he catches. All while making it look easy with steezy style too!

“Boards…… we don’t need boards where we’re going!” Hahaha anyone know what movie I borrowed that from?

Some times being at the bottom is a good thing.

Because the top becomes your target.

Like every great surf trip, there is inevitably always the dreaded last day. Well, today was my buddy Louie’s last full day of surf. Here’s his last wave…. leaving his classic “Lou-Dog” exclamation point on this little green Colorados gremlin!

As always, so great to see you back down, even though the time flew by waaaaaay too fast! Until your next trip back soon hermano! Keep putting out killer design work and being a kick ass Dad! Safe travels buddy!!!!

Here’s my visual version of “Tears of the sun” from one of the best songs from one of my favorite bands, ever, Stick Figure.
