Luckily most of today’s surfers were skilled enough to find and make use of the better sets when they came. Lots of barrels were made today.

Jeison deep on the takeoff in a perfect sandbar drainer. The conditions were excellent this morning.

This young fella must’ve listened to some “Thriller” by Michael Jackson before paddling out haha!

The mysto peak all the way at the southern end of the beach looking aesthetic and tempting. In all likelihood the waves were all closing out down there today though.

I really like this surfer’s form, style, technique, and his surfboard. It’s a shame he was obstructed from making this barrel by a snowball.

I have a good feeling that we’ll be seeing more of this tomorrow morning.

And he’s gone…

This was probably the highest quality wave I saw all morning too.

A rare cutback in today’s hollow conditions.

One last little piece of shade to close today’s surf action. It was a fun morning indeed.

More swell is forecasted tomorrow and Tony Z returns to the report. Be sure to stop in and see what action he captures! Thanks for checking in and have a good one.
