We didn’t find what we were hoping to find today. It’s was onshore but there were still some sets coming through but everybody had to work on the mushy ones. Here is a shot of the scene on the beach. Hopefully we’ll have better condition for the contest tomorrow in the morning.
Augusto “La Gaviota” Chamorro was one of the first surfers to jump out in the water and was trying to do a couple of maneuvers. Here he is with a sweet snap.
Couple of the groms were out too doing their thing. Here is Darwin “El Cabucho” Jacamo working on one of the best right of the day.
Here is Patricio “El Frikiton” Martinez going big with a cool move. This is one of the best locals junior around this town and i think he’ll be defending his hometown in this tournament and he will try to win the tittle for first time.
Mario “El Danino” Martinez wasn’t happy with this kind of wave “Onshore wind”. This guy always get perfect waves with the wind going offshore all day long and now he has to deal with this kind of conditions and do the best he can.
It looks like we are going to have a new girl participating in the contest into the woman category. I just kidding guys, that’s my little daughter having fun in the pool. Please check back tomorrow for the entire coverage of the contest. Lucha out!!!
